Food in Japan – Chirashi Rice!

A popular dish that I’ve had in Japan was Chirashi Rice.

It’s basically sashimi layered on top of sushi rice.

I had this particular one in Shizuoka.

It’s by far one of the most colourful Japanese dishes I’ve ever had. Almost as though someone put fruit in it.

Fresh is always good – I wish there was someone here in Australia that could replicate this – I’d so go there in an instant! (Anything with Uni is a thumbs up from me XD)
